With dual expertise as both a seasoned legal practitioner and successful business leader, Ken brings a unique perspective to every client matter that few attorneys can match. His unique background includes distinguished government service as a Senate-confirmed U.S. diplomat and extensive international business development experience.

As a real estate investor, developer, and retail real estate professional , Ken understands the practical implications of legal decisions across residential, commercial, retail and wholesale real estate. His experience growing a Belgian cable manufacturing company's U.S. subsidiary from startup to $15 million in revenues demonstrates his ability to navigate complex business challenges.

Ken’s background allows him to serve not only as an attorney, but as a trusted advisor who understands how legal decisions affect business strategy, regulatory compliance, and international markets.

Charlene Talaia
Principal, Real Estate Broker & Advisory Services

With over two decades of real estate experience, Charlene leads the firm’s property advisory and client-service practice. A Florida real-estate broker, she holds SRES, CPRES, CDPE, Foreclosure Mastery, and Mature Moves credentials, and has owned multiple brokerages with high-volume sales and advisory excellence. A former corporate leader at Lucent Technologies and Avaya Communications, she managed multimillion-dollar projects and technical teams—discipline she now applies to complex transactions.

Charlene’s expertise spans probate property, distressed and short-sale solutions, downsizing, and investment strategy. She regularly guides families and personal representatives through probate sales, supports investors by sourcing rentals and arranging tenant placement, and coordinates the legal work with our lawyers for a true one-stop experience.

Active across Tampa Bay/St. Pete, she pairs deep technical knowledge with a warm, client-first philosophy—bringing clarity and momentum when stakes are high.
