Effective date: January 1, 2026  |  Last updated: May 2026

Your privacy matters. This policy explains exactly what information WomenThink collects when you visit our website or participate in our programs, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We've written this in plain language — not legalese — because we believe you deserve to know what's actually going on with your data.

If you have questions at any point, reach us directly at [email protected].

1. What We Collect

Information you give us directly

When you fill out a form, apply to a program, register for an event, or contact us, you may provide:

  • Name and email address
  • Phone number
  • Professional background and career information (for program applications)
  • Payment information (processed securely through our payment processor — we do not store your card data)
  • Any information you share in coaching sessions, group calls, or written exercises

Information collected automatically

When you visit womenthink.com, standard web technology collects:

  • IP address and general location (city/region level)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited, time on site, and how you found us
  • Cookie data (see Section 5)

This information is used to understand how our site performs and how visitors engage with it. It is not linked to your identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Communicate with you about programs, events, and resources you've expressed interest in
  • Process applications and registrations
  • Deliver coaching programs and follow up on your progress
  • Send emails you've opted into (program announcements, newsletters, follow-up sequences)
  • Improve our website and marketing based on aggregate usage data
  • Meet our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for purposes other than those listed above without notifying you first.

3. Third-Party Platforms We Use

We run our business on a set of platforms that process your data on our behalf. These are the ones relevant to you:

  • GoHighLevel — our CRM, funnel, and email platform. Stores contact information and manages program communications.
  • Web3Forms — collects form submissions from our site and sends them to our inbox.
  • Stripe (or our active payment processor) — handles all payment transactions. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Zoom or similar — used for live coaching calls and group sessions. Recordings, if made, will be disclosed to participants in advance.
  • Email service providers — used to send program emails and newsletters.

Each of these platforms has its own privacy policy. We choose platforms that take data security seriously, but we encourage you to review their policies if you have specific concerns.

4. AI Tools — How We Use Them and What That Means for You

We use AI tools (such as Claude by Anthropic and similar platforms) in the course of running our business — for content development, research, and internal operations.

Here is our commitment to you on this:

  • We do not input your personal identifying information into public AI tools.
  • Coaching conversations, application content, and anything you share in a program context stays within our private systems.
  • We do not use AI to make automated decisions about you — such as whether you're accepted into a program or how you're assessed as a client. Those decisions involve a human.

As AI regulation continues to evolve — including in California, where we are based — we will update this section to reflect any changes in our practices.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help websites function and track usage patterns. Here's how we use them:

  • Essential cookies — required for the site to function (login sessions, form functionality). These cannot be disabled without breaking site features.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand traffic patterns and site performance. We use this data in aggregate, not to track individuals.
  • Marketing cookies — if you've clicked a link in one of our emails or ads, a cookie may be set to measure that interaction.

You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect how the site functions.

6. Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you
  • Request a copy of your data
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information (subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it)
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know whether your data is being sold (it isn't), the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights, and the right to opt out of automated decision-making.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as necessary to run our programs and meet legal requirements. In practice:

  • Active client and program participant records are retained for the duration of the program plus a reasonable follow-up period.
  • Marketing contact records are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Financial transaction records are retained as required by law (typically 7 years).

We do not hold onto data indefinitely. If you'd like your information removed, contact us and we'll handle it.

8. Children's Privacy

Our programs are designed for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our site, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will remove it promptly.

9. Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information — including using platforms with encryption and access controls. That said, no system is completely secure. If you have a sensitive concern, contact us directly rather than submitting it through a web form.

10. Changes to This Policy

When we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and post the new version at womenthink.com/privacy-policy. For significant changes, we'll notify active clients directly.

11. Contact

Questions? Requests? Concerns? We're a real business run by real people.
