Questions About the Cleaner Role?

Here are answers to some common questions. We’ll be happy to address anything else during your interview.

If you’re reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently, there’s a good chance this role could be a great fit.

Do I need previous short-term rental or hotel experience to apply?

Prior experience with Airbnbs, vacation rentals, or hotels is a plus, but not required. We welcome applicants with any professional cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial background—as long as you’re thorough, reliable, and open to learning our standards.

How many hours per week can I expect?

This is a part-time role and hours can vary week to week based on bookings. Some weeks will be busier than others, especially around weekends and holidays. We’ll discuss your ideal weekly range and try to align that with our cleaning schedule.

Do I need to bring my own cleaning supplies?

Most core supplies and equipment are provided at or for the property, but we may ask you to use a preferred kit or standard products. We’ll go over what’s provided and what you may need to bring during onboarding.

Is this a W-2 job or 1099 contractor work?

Details about employment or contractor status, as well as pay rates, will be discussed during the interview and may vary based on how we structure work in your area.

When will I hear back after applying?

We aim to review applications within a few business days. If there’s a potential fit, we’ll reach out by phone or email to schedule a short conversation and discuss next steps.
